Earthbeat Festival

We envision a world where we are making a positive impact on the earth around us instead of a negative one and believe in sharing the proper education and resources with our community to make this happen.

Earth Beat Festival is our grassroots effort to gather fellow local business owners, artists and organizations who are making sustainable strides in their practices, together for a day of education and celebration. Showcasing a community of Earth Citizens creating a higher standard for our city and future generations to come.

This festival provides opportunities for you to connect with and support local green business owners, attend mini-workshops from various sustainability experts and deepen your relationship to the earth with pop-up experiences throughout the day. Additionally this year there will be a clothing swap happening where you can shop for free and practice in person what it means to participate in a circular economy.

MANA: a social ceremony

RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE

Mana is a Social Ceremony. A gathering designed to highlight the magic that happens when like-minded individuals come together in a nurturing and intentional environment.

On Sunday March 17th, Hera lands in the temple of sound at In the Lowest Ferns. We’re going back to the basics, back to community. Music and dance lead the way, the rest is up to fate as you explore thoughtfully designed intersections of the space which come alive with activations from Chelsea Craig MOCO Massage and Hera.

The afternoon starts with a short somatic movement opening led by Rylie Beck that transitions to an open dance floor. Surrounded by ferns and beams of sun lighting the space, DJ Prismada steers the grooves into the deep jungle. With no talking on the dance floor, this time is for those who want to sink deep into dance and movement, to come home to themselves and express through the language of the soul.

The later half of the afternoon transitions into daylight gathering space where ritual is found in the simple act of showing up. Exploring presence, honoring social connection in community.

We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that make you feel beautiful but most importantly… come as you are, heart open to experience and walk away with a nourished soul, new connections, stories and a deeper sense of belonging.

Mocktail's will be available for purchase at the bar.

You will additionally be able to sign up for:

Acupuncture by Chelsea Craig (Women’s Intuitive Health)

Mini Massage Sessions by MOCO Massage

We’re back Saturday November 18th for Mana: A day of wellness, community and nourishment.

Tucked into a wooded corner just 20 minutes outside of Kansas City, lies our forest retreat. The day will start with a group earth connection walk, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shin-Rin Yoku, exploring and honoring the land on which our event resides. Finding mindful moments to acknowledge our inner experience in the change of seasons.

The rhythm of music beckons our return back to the warmth of a bonfire at the heart of our experience where we will collectively share in the passing of cacao at 4pm.

The rest is up to fate as you navigate your way through intentionally designed intersections of the property and interact with community collaborator activations.

Our events are always curated to provide a safe and inclusive space for people of all backgrounds and ages to come together and celebrate community.

Come as you are and leave with a nourished soul, new friends, stories and a deeper sense of belonging.

Our Earth Connection Walk will take place in two group time slots. Upon reserving your space at Mana, you will be given the option to choose the timeframe that aligns best for you.

Earth Beat Market

Our West Bottoms Eco-Market is a monthly, pop-up sustainability hub that takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

This event is truly a hub for those of us that desire to consume all of life with our planet in mind.  Earthbeat is a reminder of the heartbeat of the planet.  To connect in and know that you yourself are nature and to remember our responsibility to protect, nurture and nourish this planet we’ve been gifted and the resources that it provides to us.  We believe in the power of forming a connection with all of the things that you buy and use in your day to day life.  Where we have connection to the maker, the farmer or the curator, we are more likely to be a steward of the things we purchase. If we know the energy that went into something, we can truly mindfully utilize that resource to the best of our ability.  So, we have created a monthly pop-up in Kansas City where we make that possible.  Not only that, but connecting into those of a like-mind.  This is a space to come and make new friends, meet new businesses in Kansas City that align with your values of the world and ours.

Fleur: A Botanical Mini Retreat

Fleur is an invitation to play. To explore the femininity within all of us; to create, connect, and flourish together. This event is designed to allow you to slow down with us, to appreciate the beauty and femininity of nature, of yourself and of the people around you. To try something new and embody the wisdom of botanicals.

This half day retreat is hosted lakefront on Crystal Lakes, just outside of Excelsior Springs, MO.

The afternoon will begin with a Sacred Florals Workshop by Almaluna Ceremony - Explore Intentional Floral Design, understand the plant’s magical + herbal properties, learn how to repurpose dried arrangements for cleansing.

We will enjoy a plant based, long table dinner made by Florabelle Food, with locally sourced produce from Barefoot Farm

There will be time for individual exploration, to take a moment to pause and reflect, enjoy the lake, journal or to take a canoe out on the sparkling waters.

As the sunsets, we will circle around a bonfire for connection over cacao and a feminine movement practice.

A bell tent, adorned with lavish textures and fabrics is home to a sacred herbal smoke circle where we will wind the night down with a “Fleur” custom blend from Reishi and Rosewater: A Modern Apothecary. This smoke blend is a combination of several sacred herbs but does not contain THC.

This event is the collaboration of these amazing practitioners and facilitators and is truly born of our hearts to come together and celebrate the feminine connection to our earth. We hope you will join us in this celebration. Only 15 spots are available for this intimate and highly curated event.
